The revamp store is much better and the products are much better lot of food products and the prices are really reasonable and it's local so you don't have to travel 10 to 15 MI north or south

This store is ok. It’s sells cheap and affordable items. Friendly staff. I was disappointed to find out that they don’t have a sexy blue bikini swimsuit for men to wear and a giant sledgehammer that I can buy to use it to destroy my 2010 Nissan Sentra that is a piece of crap.

Ocean City Job Lot is one of those places where you walk in hoping for a quick shopping trip and instead end up with a story to tell. The prices and deals are definitely the main reason people stop here — you can find some solid bargains if you’re willing to dig a little. But the overall shopping experience leaves a lot to be desired. The aisles can be cluttered, items feel randomly placed, and the store always looks like it needs a good reorganization. Sometimes it feels more like a warehouse than a retail store. What really makes this location stand out, though, are the unusual characters you run into almost every visit. It’s like the unofficial hangout spot for the most unexpected crowd. One day you’ll see a guy dressed like Ghostface from Scream, pointing his finger at people like he’s casting votes. Another time someone shows up in a full Willy Wonka outfit, strolling around as if he’s searching for golden tickets in the clearance bins. And then there’s the Joker look-alike, popping up with a shopping cart like this is Gotham’s bargain center. It’s funny at first, but after a while it gets a little uncomfortable. For unusual finds to stock your international, Pantry, Ocean State Job Lot is one of my go-to shops in the area. The staff is generally very helpful and pleasant to work with. The in-store “crazy deals “are more limited, but join the community and shop online for some of those absolute best values.

OK, you got me. I am definitely a bargain shopper. I don’t usually go out of my way to go to Ocean State Job Lot but if I’m in the area, I do stop in. I assume that most of their merchandise are closeouts from other places, so you can find interesting things. I like that they often have health food brands at steeply discounted prices. The bathroom is quite clean.
